Launched in 1968, the 'S30' Datsun 240Z (or Nissan Fairlady Z as it was known in Japan), was a highly successful sports car made by Nissan. It competed directly with the MG B-GT but was a much more modern car; with a silky 6 cylinder engine, fresh styling and great handling. Long waiting lists ensured the car was in constant demand, mostly in the lucrative American market.
