The 911 (993) Turbo model was introduced in 1996 and was the first 911 Turbo to feature all wheel drive, which was taken from the 959 model. It also featured a new 3.6 litre twin turbocharged engine which produced over 400bhp. The body had numerous changes; widened by 6cm at the rear with dedicated intakes on the rear wings, a different front bumper and a fixed rear wing which incorporated the intercoolers. A very fast car even by today's standards, it could reach 60mph in just 3.8 seconds - with a manual gearbox.
