The facelifted Mk3 was launched in 2009 and mainly consisted of cosmetic upgrades, but also some reworking of the suspension settings for a lower ride height and sharper turn in, to answer feedback from the press and customers. The refreshed look gave the car a more modern feel but kept the ethos of the original design.
